DETERMINING THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND LABOR SAFETY RISKS

Lo&Ca Logistics takes the analysis into consideration for constituting, applying and ensuring the managing systems continuity. The analysis also gives significant data for the education needs of its personnel.

 

LEGAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

The follow-up of legal and other requirements that Lo&Ca Logistics Managing Systems are obliged to obey on the environmental and labor safety are provided by the Managing Agent of the Follow-Up List on Environment and Labor Safety. The current legal requirements of Lo&Ca Logistics is obliged to obey are followed up by the subscription to Lebib Yalkin Publishes. The current obligations also followed –up by following the formal letters of the relevant institutions. Any change on the legal and any other obligations analysed and the List of Environment and Labor Safety Follow-up List is updated by the Managing Agent so the evaluation of the practices of Lo&Ca Logistics Managing Systems are searched in order to find the need of any change. If the changes need of any investment the Managing Agent may demand a Revision Meeting from the Management Council.

 

THE AIM, THE GOAL AND THE ACTION PLANS

The environment and labor safety aims and goals are targeted, applied and provide their continuing by the suitable functions and managing levels of Lo&Ca LogisticsIf the aims and goals can be analysed, the aims and goals are analysed and monitored for the legal and other obligations that Lo&Ca Logistics has to obey, so applied to the Quality Environment Labor Health and Safety Policies which are in correspondence with continuous development, including the commitment of inhibition of pollution.

When the environment and labor safety aims and goals are determined and rewieved, Lo&Ca Logistics takes into consideration of the important environmental effects and labor safety risks with the legal and other obligations, too. Besides that, the technological options, economic and corporal conditions and the views of the corresponding parties are taken into consideration for the determination of the aims and goals.

The Aims and Goals of the Environment and Labor Safety are designated by Lo&Ca Logistics  High Management annually and is stated of the Unit Process Plans.  The Managing Systems Action Plans which states the activities to achieve the aims and goals, the liable personnel and the schedule is prepared by the Managing Agent annually and is approved by the Chairman. The personnel in charge of the unit follow the aims and goals of their units and provide the activities designed on the Managing Systems Action Plan. The activities are reported to the Managing Agent monthly, so the continuity of the Managing Systems are provided.

 

THE CONTROL OF THE ACTIVITIES

The activities and the process corresponding the environment effects and labor safety risks are defined in all units of Lo&Ca Logistics which is relevant to the control precautions of environment and labor safety. The documented procedures, instructions and other materials which may deviate the Policy of Qualified Environment and Labor Health and Safety aims and goals in case of their absence has been created, applied and provided for continuity. The prepared documents are focusing the decrease of Labor Safety Risks on their prime. The criteria on the forms and their importance are explained to all of the personnel through trainings and controlled while on action. Also the goods and services that Lo&Ca Logistics uses is chosen by the merchandising unit according to these aims and goals and described to the third parties whilst their action, declared by the Environment and Labor Safety Instructions for the Third Parties.

If there is no way decreasing the risks of labor safety, the workers, visitors and interns are protected with the suitable protective equipment according to the risks of the work done by the explained by the Protective Equipment Supply and Use Procedure.

The labor safety precautions concerning Lo&Ca Logistics facilities are described by the Labor Safety Procedures. All the obligations described by the Labor Safety Procedures for the environmental protection and labor safety of all personnel of Lo&Ca Logistics controlled by the personnel in charge.

 

EMERGENCY PRECAUTIONS AND INTERVENTION

THE Emergency Procedures are taken into consideration in case of the emergencies and environmental hazard possibilities on the facilities of Lo&Ca Logistics Emergency Intervention Team (ADME) founded in Lo&Ca Logistics and the requirements of this team has been provided. In case of any emergency, the incident place, time, causes, effects and precautions are described on an Emergency Evaluation Report has been prepared by the Emergency Intervention Team Leader. After the evaluation, the sufficiency of Lo&Ca Logistics evaluated and the required needs are provided.

There are also emergency practises for Lo&Ca Logistics personnel to be prepared. The results of these practises evaluate the the sufficiency.

 

OBSERVATION, SURVEY AND EVALUATION OF CONFORMITY

The ISG Environment Observation, Survey and Evaluation of Conformity Procedures are prepared for observing, surveying and evaluating of conformity of the periodical parameters for Lo&Ca LogisticsManaging Systems.  These parameters are described in the Environment and Labor Health and Safety Perfomance Follow-up Plan and are reported directly to the CEO by the Managing Agent periodically.

The conformities of the surveys and analyses are reported to the Managing agent from the unit leaders. If there is any unconformities, the needed process is applied by the order of the Managing Agent, according to the Corrective and Preventive Activity Procedure. If there is an investment need, Managing Agent ask for a High Management Revision Meeting and starts the process according to the decision.
